Summary: Our client, a biopharmaceutical company in Cork, is seeking an Indirect Tax Analyst.
The ideal candidate will support the indirect compliance/account process across the EMEA region.
Responsibilities: Preparing and filing indirect tax returns, submitting refund claims, performing account reconciliations, carrying out data validation and ensuring timely tax payments.
Work with external service providers as required to meet indirect tax compliance obligations.
Ensure accurate completion of templates for tax payments, journal entries and monthly account reconciliations.
Work closely with Legal, Finance and the wider business to provide guidance, advice and support on indirect tax-related matters Assist the EMEA and Global Tax Teams with tax projects such as tax system implementation/automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support tax audits/enquiries as they arise.
Preparing and maintaining process documentation.
Maintaining compliance and risk trackers.
Supplier management.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience: Undergraduate Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
Minimum 3 years Indirect Tax experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel/Word/Power BI.
ERP experience, ideally Oracle/SAP.
Experience with data analytics tools/tax software is an advantage.
