LRE’s Budget Team is looking for an organised, clear-thinking individual who is excited to manage vast amounts of financial data in order to isolate risk and predict future needs. Candidates should have excellent problem-solving abilities with the right amount of technical, organizational and communication skills to provide the best results.

Description

The best candidate must be resourceful and able to work effectively in a dynamic environment. You must be able to problem-solve, multitask, work independently and prioritize your workload. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential in order to interact with vendors and many organisations within Apple. In addition, initiative to improve and streamline existing processes is always recognized.

Responsibilities

- The specific responsibilities for this position include:
- Manage vendor purchase orders from inception to close.
- Handle vendor queries, invoice processing and payment workflow.
- Work closely with business partners to forecast, maintain individual project budget estimates, analyze actual spend versus forecast, and adjust forecast as needed.
- Create and maintain detailed invoice tracking document of actual spend per invoice.
- Weekly/Monthly and quarter end trend and financial reporting for new and ongoing projects.
- Check Monthly expense reports versus supplied paperwork, enter expense data into the system.
- Create quarterly accrual journal entries as needed.
- Act as liaison between multiple teams including business partners, Procurement, and Finance.
- Work with team to identify and implement new process and tools to improve efficiencies and data insights.
- Support annual planning activities.

Minimum Qualifications

- Proven experience in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
- Technical aptitude with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills and ability to communicate forecasts, results, and variances succinctly to management.
- Exceptional organization and eye for detail.

Preferred Qualifications

- Demonstrated ability to build effective business partnerships.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Passion for process improvement.
- Be a self starter who shows initiative.
- Experience with MacOS a plus.
- Interest in embracing emerging technologies such as AI.
