The Ardilaun Hotel is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Duty Manager to join our team. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel and ensuring the highest standards of service for our guests. About Us Formerly a country mansion, the 4* Ardilaun Hotel boasts 123 luxury bedrooms with a superb conference centre, wedding venue and leisure club facilities. Nestled in Galways suburbs, in a secluded setting in leafy Taylors Hill just 1km from Galway City, Galway Bay, and Salthill, our hotel provides a serene and secluded setting for guests. Responsibilities Work with the management team to ensure smooth running of the hotel operation Foster a welcoming and hospitable environment for guests. Address guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance overall satisfaction To ensure that all staff conduct themselves in accordance to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual and hotel policy Ability to direct the team in all operational departments in their day to day duties A strong presence on the floor with a hands on approach Assist the Head of Department to continually improve the procedures and systems Professional Requirements and Experience: Proven experience in hotel management or a related field. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Knowledge of hotel operations, reservation systems, and customer service principles. Availability to work flexible hours, including late night, early morning and weekends.
