Our Client is a Multinational Manufacturer of Medical Devices and they have instructed us to hire a Material Quality Inspector Team Leader for a permanent position.

Shifts: 7am – 3.30pm and 3.00pm -11.30pm Mon – Fri week on week off

Duties:

- Lead and support inspection activities in the areas of component and mechatronic Inspection to support manufacturing.
- Leading the completion of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and various types of lot inspection activities, conducting visual and measurement tests, dispositioning defective products for rework, and confirming re-work.
- Responsible and accountable for all aspects of the Purchased Material Inspection (PMI) team’s performance and output KPI’s.
- Act as a first point of escalation for issues and provide resolution by using the resources of the team and supporting functions, minimizing the need for further escalation.
- Implement schedules, methods, and processes, allocate manpower and resources to maximum benefit.
- Provide solutions to problems impacting daily targets in a complex environment working and managing to tight deadlines.
- Other duties as required.

Key Experience:

- 3+ years relevant experience managing a team.
- BA degree in Quality Management, Engineering or relevant.
- Strong working knowledge of Quality inspection activities.
- Knowledge and application experience with manufacturing techniques and process controls is essential.
- You thrive in a fast-paced diverse environment, strong leadership abilities.
- You are energized by finding new and improved ways to deliver excellence, not being afraid to embrace new initiatives and change.
- You are a clear and confident verbal communicator.
- You have strong attention to detail.
