We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dynamic Tool Hire Manager to lead and grow our tool hire business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, customer service, and operations, with experience in the tool hire or construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

·Manage the day-to-day operations of the tool hire business, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.

·Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and grow the customer base.

·Lead, motivate, and manage a team of staff, ensuring high performance and professional development.

·Oversee stock management, including procurement, maintenance, and availability of tools and equipment.

·Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

·Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.

·Monitor financial performance, including revenue, costs, and profit margins, and take necessary actions to achieve targets.

·Handle customer queries and complaints, ensuring excellent service and problem resolution.

·Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Requirements:

·Proven experience in a management role within the tool hire, construction, or related industry.

·Strong sales and business development skills.

·Excellent leadership and people management abilities.

·Good understanding of tool and equipment hire, including stock control and maintenance.

·Commercially aware with the ability to drive revenue and profitability.

·Strong customer service skills with a focus on relationship building.

·Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the industry.

·Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple responsibilities.

·IT literate, with experience using hire management systems (desirable).
