Role:Head of Finance Location:Waterford (hybrid) Reporting to:Chief Financial Officer Terms:Permanent / Full Time (39 hours per week) Salary range:€91,800 to €118,800 (Please note that offers are typically made at the beginning to mid-range of the advertised salary, based onskills and experience) Job Purpose: To support the CFO in delivering the key strategic financial goals of the organisation expenditure and purchases within the organisations Management function. Main duties and responsibilities: Support the CFO and and Senior Management in the achievement of the Organisations Strategic Plan. Manage and implement the best of class financial management systems, treasury operations and internal financial controls across the Finance function. Oversee External and Internal Audits. Ensure the Finance Department is fully compliant with all documented control procedures, existing regulatory and statutory requirements. Provide timely financial management reports to Senior Management within the organisation. Liaise with external stakeholders / housing partners to achieve our key strategic objectives. Supervise and develop the Finance Team staff members. Manage Financial Partnering in support of other departments across the organisation Drive Value for Money initiatives and achieve cost savings across the organisation. Responsible for maintaining the Finance Departments Risk Register and engaging with Compliance Dept on overall corporate risk register. Engage in other accounting and system development projects. Any other duties that may arise from time to time. Qualifications: Requires undergraduate degree level in Accounting (ACA, ACCA, CGMA) Experience / Additional requirements: Position required 5-8 years of experience preferably in financial management and control role Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including managing, interpreting, and manipulating large data sets. Proven ability to work under pressure and think latterly dealing with a wide range of financial issues. Excellent report writing, communication, and IT skills. Ability to manage staff and deliver results through a team. Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills with staff and partners. Highly motivate with proven ability to work on own initiative, unsupervised, as a team player and work with integrity.
