Barden is assisting a leading hospitality business, based in the City Centre, to identify a Payroll and Accounts Administrator to join their supportive and close-knit finance team.
This role offers a hands-on approach in a busy and fast-paced environment with responsibility for delivering payroll across the business.
About the role Process the weekly end-to-end payroll.
Respond to payroll queries from employees in a timely manner.
Ensure payroll returns are completed accurately and on a timely basis before submission to Revenue.
Process starters/leavers.
Assist finance with relevant payroll reporting.
Provide assistance to the accounts payable function and follow up on supplier queries.
Prepare bank reconciliations.
Ensure that all payroll records are filed correctly.
Assist the Financial Controller with ad-hoc duties that arise.
About the person 3 years’ payroll experience desirable.
Strong Microsoft Excel experience (pivot tables/VLOOKUPs).
Ability to work on own initiative with strong attention to detail.
A high level of accuracy.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
