We are a leading construction firm specializing in large-scale residential projects in Dublin. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Supervisor to join our team for an exciting new residential development project.
Job Description:
As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will oversee the mechanical installation and maintenance activities for the residential project. You will ensure that all mechanical works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the project specifications. You will be responsible for coordinating a team of subcontractors, ensuring quality control, and adhering to project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all mechanical works on site, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Ensure work is carried out in compliance with project specifications, health & safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Oversee and manage a team of mechanical technicians and subcontractors.
- Conduct regular site inspections and provide reports on progress.
- Liaise with the Project Manager and other supervisory staff to address any issues or delays.
- Ensure that all materials and equipment are available and meet project requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical system issues that may arise during construction.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Supervisor in the construction industry.
- Proven experience working on large residential or commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection).
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and quality control procedures.
