Are you a strategic inventory expert with a passion for precision, planning, and performance? We're working with a dynamic and growing retail brand that's shaking up the industry — and they're looking for a Inventory Planning Manager to lead the way in ensuring the right stock lands in the right place, at the right time, across both digital and physical channels.

In this key leadership role, you'll report directly to the Supply Chain & Operations Director and collaborate cross-functionally with Buying, Merchandising, and Retail teams to drive operational excellence. From planning seasonal flows to managing stock movements across a national retail footprint and eCommerce, you'll play a central role in the end-to-end inventory lifecycle.

- Build and maintain a commercial stock movement calendar that aligns with seasonal trading and product sell-through.
- Forecast and report volume projections (inbound/outbound) to support warehouse capacity and planning.
- Own pre-season planning including grade, store profile, pre-allocation, and product flagging for operational efficiency.
- Lead in-season trading strategies through best-seller reviews, profile changes, and demand response.
- Collaborate with Buying on product and store trends to influence pricing, ranging, and size curves.
- Drive stock recall (FMLs) and liquidation strategies to optimize margin and sell-through.
- Continuously improve inventory and trade forecasting tools to support commercial decision-making.
- Partner with Retail Operations to align store option capacity with stock and layout optimization.
- 3+ years in inventory planning, supply chain, or merchandising in a retail or B2C environment.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with high proficiency in Excel.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft D365), BI tools (e.g. Tableau), and Office suite.
- Experience managing fast-moving inventory across both eCommerce and physical stores.
- Commercially aware with the ability to translate trends into actionable stock strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all business levels.
- A third-level qualification in Supply Chain, Merchandising, or Business is desirable.
- Coach and mentor a Supply Chain Coordinator, fostering professional growth and performance.
- Champion a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement within the Supply Chain team.
- Act as the key liaison between supply chain and commercial teams.
- Deliver insights and reporting to internal stakeholders, influencing trading decisions and inventory optimisation.
- Share updates on sales trends, identifying risks and opportunities for the business.
