Overview Who are we looking for? We are looking for a Portfolio Management - Associate to support the increased demand placed on our team as we continue to grow and win new business.
What are the minimum requirements Ideal candidates will be at graduate-level or have up to 2 years relevant experience. Prior experience either in a management company or an insurance company would be preferred.
Excellent PC skills including Word, Excel and Access (VBA skills would be considered as an advantage).
Responsibilities Close collaboration with the investment advisors.
Identifying and monitoring investment strategies.
Perform detailed checks on presented investments and organize the respective investment committee meetings.
Support during the acquisition of assets (e.g. preparation of internal contracts and resolutions as well as coordination of all external service providers together with responsibility for cash flows).
Manage fund investments (e.g. managing cash flows according to the budget, calculating performance metrics, and analysing financial reports).
Analysis and aggregation of performance data from the asset management.
Preparation of reports to Senior Management Committee, Board of Directors of Fund and Board of Directors of the Management Company.
Direct involvement in the complete fund life cycle (e.g. investor drawdowns, investments, determination of dividends to investors).
Coordination and review of fund financial reports.
Support the client on-boarding process and the implementation of service level agreements.
Supervision of the PE/RE delegates and service providers (e.g. administrator, investment managers) including attendance at regular review calls and due diligence inspections.
Maintain and further improve the RE/RE delegation oversight procedures.
