Assistant Branch Manager - Charleville Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Branch Manager to support the day-to-day running of a busy builders providers branch in Charleville. Working closely with the Branch Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the team delivers excellent customer service, achieves sales targets, and maintains a smooth, safe, and efficient operation. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong commercial drive and leadership experience in the construction supply sector. Location: Charleville Hours: 7:45am to 5:30pm Work Pattern: 5 days across Monday to Saturday Key Responsibilities: Support the Branch Manager with daily branch operations including sales, customer service, stock control, opening/closing duties, and logistics. Lead and motivate the team to consistently deliver high-quality customer experiences and maintain strong operational standards. Assist with stock management, ensuring accurate inventory levels and timely ordering. Support the achievement of sales and profitability targets through proactive customer engagement and business development. Ensure full compliance with health and safety policies and all company procedures. Act as Deputy Manager during periods of absence to ensure seamless branch operations. Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Lead the trade counter team in driving sales and promoting product knowledge. Skills & Experience: Proven supervisory or management experience within builders providers, construction supply, hardware, or a related trade environment. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Solid knowledge of building materials and related product lines. Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering excellent service. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to influence and drive sales performance. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant POS/inventory systems. Full, clean driving licence required.
