Sales Development Manager Our client is looking to welcome an experienced and results-focused Sales Development Manager to their Charleville-based team. This is a key commercial role, responsible for growing market share, strengthening customer relationships, and driving sales across a wide portfolio of building materials. If you have a strong understanding of the construction supply sector and the confidence to build meaningful partnerships with builders, contractors, and trade professionals, this opportunity could be for you Location: Limerick (starting/ending day in Charleville) Salary: DOE Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:00am to 5:30pm (5 days per week) Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to grow revenue and expand market presence across the Limerick region. Identify, target, and win new business from builders, developers, contractors, and trade accounts. Manage and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term loyalty. Collaborate with branch and commercial teams on pricing, stock levels, promotions, and delivery coordination. Prepare regular sales reports and performance updates for management. Start or end each working day at the Charleville branch and attend a weekly management meeting onsite. Skills & Experience: Proven success in sales or business development within building materials, construction supply, or a related trade environment. Strong commercial awareness with excellent negotiation and deal-closing skills. Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport and credibility with customers at all levels. Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently in a field-based role. Strong organisational skills with a detail-focused approach to planning and pipeline management.
