Join us as a Cyber Security Engineer in Design/Architecture

The Role
In your role as a Senior Cyber Security Engineer, you'll be responsible for the cyber security (CS) of our in-vehicle services, leading a team responsible for on-board CS throughout the lifecycle of our vehicles, new security feature design, reviewing security concepts and designs, and liaison with third parties to create and review our CS standards.

You'll design, develop and implement robust security solutions and practices for real-world deployment, documenting and organizing information to create clear and concise insights into our CS operations and their needs.

Key responsibilities:

1. Delivery of CS concepts and requirements for new and existing vehicle electronic architecture, on a broad spectrum of in-vehicle products and services.
2. Delivery of UNECE R155 and ISO 21434 related work products.
3. Providing technical expertise for system architecture development focused on CS using Agile methodologies.
4. Developing security standards, systems and solutions to be deployed in a worldwide arena.
5. Representing the onboard CS Architecture Team when engaging with other Engineering Teams.
6. Engaging and leading technical discussions with automotive Tier 1 suppliers.
7. Coaching, mentoring and supporting other engineers in the team.

Your Profile
Key skills/knowledge/experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in a Technological Engineering, Cyber Security, Computer Science or related subject, or BTEC HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, coupled with extensive related experience in product development areas such as: product engineering, embedded systems development, CS design or related subjects.
2. Solid foundation in CS Fundamentals (e.g. Risk Assessment, Cryptography, Security Protocols and Standards).
3. Capable of conceptualizing, defining, and implementing security systems and architectures.
4. Experience with Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment processes for product development.
5. Proficiency with Requirements Management (e.g. DOORS, TRM).
6. Experience of managing Stakeholders.
7. Strong technical, communication and analytical skills.

Good to have:

1. Master of Science degree in a Technological Engineering, Cyber Security, Computer Science or related subject.
2. CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, ISO 21434, ISO 27001 or similar certification.
3. Good knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) main components, including sensors (e.g. Radar, Ultrasonics, Lidar, Cameras), SAE Levels of Driving Automation.
4. Proven Track record with embedded system Cyber Security architecture design (e.g. Trust Zones).
5. Knowledge of in-vehicle communication protocols (e.g. CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet).
6. Experience with Communication Security protocols (e.g. TLS, IPSec).
7. Experience in automotive software development (e.g. AutoSAR, QNX etc).
8. Competent using digital Project Management tools (Waterfall and Agile) e.g. JIRA, Confluence, MIRO, Slack).
9. Experience using low level programming languages (e.g. C/C++).
10. Strong Stakeholder management experience.
11. Extensive CS experience and/or qualifications in equivalent areas (Rail, Automotive, Tier 1 Automotive, Industrial control, Operational Technology, Product Development, Embedded Systems, Defence).
