Site Inspector / Clerk of Works A leading design and engineering consultancy in Dublin is seeking a Site Inspector with a strong trade background and 10+ years of on-site construction experience to oversee sites in Dublin and the Midlands. Duties include: Conduct detailed on-site inspections across various locations in Dublin and across the Midlands to ensure compliance with current building regulations Compile reports - including observations, findings, and recommendations Interpret technical issues and assess compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards Liaise with internal Project Managers, contractors and client reps and coordinate the procurement of works Attend follow-up inspections to ensure works have been completed to scope Be the point of contact on-site for contractors and stakeholders Make independent, sound technical decisions with full accountability Desired skills Deep knowledge across multiple trades (carpentry background a bonus) Proven experience with Irish Building Regulations & compliance Strong report writing and IT skills Excellent communication skills Self motivated and comfortable working independently Full, clean Irish driving licence is essential MUST hold full eligibility to work in Ireland If you are an experienced Clerk of Works or Site Inspector seeking to join an industry leading consultancy offering great benefits and progression, please forward your cv to Deborah Byrne for a confidential discussion.
