We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled payroll professional to join a leading financial services provider based in the Dublin 22/15 area. You will be responsible for managing the payroll process for the organisation, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and providing excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in the transition from an outsourced payroll processing service to an in-house payroll and HRIS solution as well as assisting with gender pay gap reporting and the implementation of auto enrolment. Salary is DOE €55,000 - €65,000 9 month contract Hybrid 2 days in office per week Flexible starting time between 8.00 -9.00 On site parking Key Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end processing of monthly payroll for approx. 150 employee's Ensure GDPR compliance and maintain confidentiality of payroll data Process new starters, leavers, salary changes, bonuses, and other payroll adjustments. Ensure full compliance with Irish payroll legislation, tax withholding of PAYE, PRSI and USC, as well as other deductions Submitting payroll data and Enhance Reporting to Revenue. Maintain accurate payroll records and reports. Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve any issues or discrepancies. Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure accurate employee data and financial reporting including preparation of payroll journals . Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management. Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations. Manage the project to transition from outsourced payroll processing to in-house payroll processing, including planning, coordination, and implementation. Assist with preparation of gender pay gap reports Assist with implementation of auto enrolment Person Specification & Qualification: Minimum of 5- 6 years' experience as a payroll specialist or similar within a financial services / Large Corporation/ Medium Corporation Strong knowledge of Irish payroll with ability to work to own initiative Ability to report and present to senior managers IPASS Payroll qualification is advantageous Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills Proficiency in payroll software and tools, such as ERP systems and Excel. Previous experience in Project management Efficiently manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Ability to adapt to changing financial environments and regulations. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
