The Global Strategic Programs Lead is responsible for leading delivery of Strategic IMSC Programs and related outcomes. They are accountable to maintain and deploy the overall IMSC Strategic Program Capability across J&J IMSC including the IMSC Functions. They will partner with stakeholders and the IMSC Strategy and Portfolio teams to support business cases, portfolio intake & updates, and approval through all business processes. The Program Lead will maintain business ownership and documentation for the capability including methodology, scope, intake, playbooks, tools, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

Value Creation

- Lead Program(s) Business Cases shaping & delivery with alignment from Sponsors & IMSC Leadership
- Design and deploy execution and value tracking for assigned Program(s)
- Seamlessly integrate Program(s) into Sustainable Operations as required

Stakeholder Management

- Lead problem definition and solution generation including options and tradeoff analysis to enable decision making
- Drive delivery of transparent program communications that are effective to drive decision making and enable achievement of Program milestones and outcomes
- Provide feedback to the team and to IMSC leadership to drive accountability and remove barriers to achieving outcomes
- Sponsor teams, provide timely decision making to progress work, and lead issue management as needed
- Build strong interdependent partnerships and manage communication effectively

Shaping Delivery

- Guide cross-functional teams to clearly and effectively scope Programs to achieve realistic and desired outcomes
- Lead continual assessment of risks; propose a plan that can be operationalized and identify dependencies to enable successful outcomes
- Define implementation plan to operationalize the strategy
- Own cross-Supply Chain delivery, from strategy to operationalize, and through issues management to deliver outcomes

Team & Governance

- Define program structure needs across IMSC and J&J as needed; secure sponsorship/resources/funding etc. to deploy model
- Establish governance structure and ongoing milestone plan oversight for Program
- Define Program milestones to efficiently deliver commitments
- Lead spend and resource management for Program
- Lead interdependency management with enabling projects, and network projects to ensure seamless milestone and outcome delivery
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development to Program team

Leadership

- Articulate a clear vision and outcome, develop a clear roadmap to achieve, and then drive team delivery of implementation, with excellence and efficiency
- Demonstrate courage, influence, and collaboration to lead with transparency, align on common goals and ways of working, drive actions, mitigate risks, and foster collaboration and partnerships with leaders
- Apply strong storytelling using data, analytics, and supply chain expertise to manage complexity, influence decision making, and deliver outcomes

Qualifications

Education:

- Minimum of a Bachelor’s / University or equivalent degree is required; MBA and/or focused degree preferred in Engineering, Business, Finance, or Supply Chain

Experience and Skills:

Required:

- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
- Supply Chain experience, including expertise in such areas as value chain, manufacturing, external vendor management, and/or related areas
- People Leadership experience (direct or indirect reports), preferably with experience mobilizing and managing global teams to develop global solutions
- Demonstrated ability to deliver strategic solutions across critical E2E factors and variables that will influence long-term success and integrate opportunities
- Broad business and financial skills to shape prioritization of initiatives
- Experience in operationalizing strategy across the business, articulating the case for change, and identifying new opportunities as they arise
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with the demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate to reach a desired result
- Strong communication to create clear and concise messaging to leadership and the ability to work well in teams, cross-functionally, and with all levels of the organization, as well as both internally and externally

Preferred:

- Experience in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or related industry
- Experience, training, or certification in project management (PMP, FPX, or equivalent)

Other:

- Requires proficiency in English (written and verbal) to communicate effectively and professionally
- May require up to 15% of domestic and international travel
- Requires the ability, through our flexible work policy, to work on-site a minimum of three days each week, with the option for two remote workdays each week

The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $146,000 USD to $251,850 USD.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

- Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year
- Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
- Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year
- Work, Personal, and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
