Our client is a leading provider of mechanical and process engineering services, with expertise in delivering high-quality installations for the food, beverage, brewery, and pharmaceutical industries. They are now seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join their team in Dublin.

The successful candidate will oversee mechanical installation projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical installation projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
2. Supervise on-site mechanical works, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to project specifications.
3. Coordinate internal resources and liaise with external contractors and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
4. Assist in developing project plans, including defining scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
5. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain quality and timelines.
6. Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members by providing updates and addressing concerns.
7. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, actively promoting a safety-first culture on all project sites.
8. Oversee the preparation and submission of technical documentation, including quality control reports and compliance records.
9. Identify risks and contribute to mitigation strategies to minimize potential project disruptions.

Key Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
2. At least 5 years of experience in mechanical supervision or project engineering within the mechanical/process engineering sector, ideally in the food, beverage, brewery, or pharmaceutical industries.
3. Strong understanding of mechanical installation processes, including prefabricated pipework, welding, and modular construction.
4. Experience managing multiple mechanical projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
5. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
6. Proficiency in project management software and engineering tools.
7. In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards.
