VAT Specialist

Brilliant opportunity for a VAT Specialist to join a leading audit, tax, and advisory firm in the Northeast of Ireland. The successful VAT Specialist will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base locally and internationally. Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review VAT returns and ensure compliance with Irish VAT legislation
- Assist in VAT planning, advisory, and consultancy projects
- Liaise with clients, Revenue, and internal teams on VAT-related queries
- Support VAT audits and manage responses to Revenue authorities
- Identify VAT risks and opportunities across client portfolios
- Contribute to process improvements and technical training initiatives

Ideal Candidate:

- CTA qualified or Tax Technician with a minimum of 5 years' VAT experience
- Strong technical knowledge of Irish VAT
- Confident communicator with excellent attention to detail
- Client-focused, proactive, and a team player
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
