This is an exciting and varied role which requires an energetic and motivated individual with a foundational background in sales, account management processes, and ideally someone with leisure or hospitality experience. The environment is fast paced and is an excellent opportunity to develop within a group sales team. Reporting directly to the Group Travel Trade Sales Manager, the role requires an ability to work on one's initiative and ensure effective promotion of the brand and Group in the key market segment of leisure groups and tour operators. The candidate should be proactive and energetic with a proven track record in achieving sales targets. You should also have the ability to execute a focused sales plan for the agreed market segments and key accounts, be accountable and work to agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Key responsibilities: To assist the Group Travel Trade Sales Manager to maximise Group and FIT revenue throughout Dalata Hotel Group ensuring effective management of key tour and leisure operators through developing and maintaining relationships and capitalising on all opportunities from existing accounts. To source and develop all new opportunities in the market segment. Coordinate group quotations and meal bookings between hotels and tour operators in a timely manner. To participate fully in all sales activities including telecalls, arranging face-to-face meetings and entertaining through effective planning and time management. Attend and plan a series of Travel Trade Shows throughout the calendar year. Some international travel is required to fulfil this. Analyse and prepare monthly production reports and identify opportunities for sales development. Ensure the accurate processing, distribution, and recording of all sales correspondence through Dalata's systems including Zendesk, Go Nitro & Solver. Maintain up-to-date client databases and the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
