Description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global insurance provider for an experienced Property Claims Adjuster to join their growing Property Technical team in Ireland.

This is a field-based position, covering a designated geographical area. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and settling a portfolio of property damage claims, including Household, Farm, and Commercial SME policies. You will play a key role in delivering fair and efficient claims resolution, conducting site inspections, and liaising with various stakeholders throughout the claims lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage a portfolio of property damage claims within an assigned region.

· Conduct on-site inspections to assess cause and extent of damage.

· Liaise with policyholders, brokers, legal representatives, and internal teams to ensure effective claim resolution.

· Oversee the governance and management of each claim in line with internal controls and regulatory standards.

· Provide guidance on large and complex claims and contribute to technical excellence within the team.

· Identify and support fraud investigations where necessary.

· Deliver high levels of customer service throughout the claims process.

Essential:

· Minimum 6 years of experience in loss adjusting or complex property claims handling.

· CIP or Dip CII qualification.

· Strong technical knowledge of property insurance claims and adjusting.

· Solid understanding of Irish regulatory requirements.

· Skilled in negotiation with a practical, solution-focused approach.

· Strong communication and organisational skills.

· Ability to work independently while collaborating with wider claims and fraud teams.
