Manager, Long Term Housing
Location: Dublin
Contract: Full Time Specific Purpose
The purpose of this role is to manage the Long Term Housing service in Georges Hill, Dublin 7. The Georges Hill community is an integral part of the DRHE's LTSA network providing wrap around support to vulnerable adults exiting homelessness.
What You Will Do
Support Focus Ireland’s objectives and work under the direction of the line manager.
Lead and supervise staff teams delivering housing and community sustainment services.
Promote staff development and ensure regular supervision.
Implement and review policies and procedures (e.g. child protection, health & safety, HR).
Manage staff performance in line with best practice and legal requirements.
Coordinate referrals and case worker allocation, and oversee record-keeping and database updates.
Monitor project budgets and propose updates to the line manager.
Liaise with external agencies and participate in meetings, training, and supervision.
Prepare reports, contribute to evaluations, and implement changes as needed.
Support the on-call service and carry out other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need
Relevant third level degree qualification in social care or related field.
Proven experience of providing staff supervision.
Extensive experience of needs assessment, support planning, case management and housing.
Be committed to work in partnership with parents/guardians and children.
Excellent communication skills.
Be able to work on own initiative.
Experience of service planning and development.
Computer literacy.
Full clean drivers licence.
