Salary: Negotiable (Depending on Experience)

Office Based Role

My client is seeking to appoint an experienced Part Qualified Accountant on a permanent basis.

Candidates will need to be studying towards their professional exams.

Experience using an ERP System would be a distinct advantage

Candidates will need to have a good working knowledge of Excel

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals and prepayments
- Support the month end and year end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Provide financial analysis to support business decisions, cost control, and performance improvement initiatives
- Partner with operations, sale and supply chain teams to provide financial insights
- Support statutory audit and tax compliance processes
- Participate in continuous improvement projects within the finance function
- Ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as required

The Person

Key Skills

- Part Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) actively pursuing qualification
- 2-4 years' experience in a finance or accounting role
- FMCG or Manufacturing industry experience is highly desirable
- Strong Excel and analytical skills, experience with ERP systems (E.G., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) is an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
