International Partnerships Lead
Maynooth University (MU) is committed to a strategy in which the primary University goals of excellent research and scholarship and outstanding education are interlinked and equally valued.
The International Office (IO) is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join the team as International Partnerships Lead. The successful candidate will, in collaboration with our international partners and internal stakeholders, be responsible for developing and delivering international partnerships while ensuring outcomes are aligned to the University’s strategic aims as outlined in Maynooth University’s Strategic Plan 2023-2028.
The successful candidate will lead and develop a cohesive and influential international partnerships’ function. They will understand the imperative to achieve the University’s goals for the development of strategic international partnerships in line with the University’s overall growth trajectories and will take responsibility for creating and implementing plans that deliver on those objectives. They will identify business risks and opportunities, and provide flexible, evidence-based, and innovative solutions that will deliver on targets. They will provide support to the international mobility & recruitment teams to deliver on that vision.
Working as part of the IO, the post holder will be dedicated to the outward-facing side of international partnerships and to the internal-facing advisory role that the team provides. A strong cross-team working style is vital, and they will also work with colleagues across the University to identify opportunities to leverage existing partnerships and develop new ones. Therefore, the successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, aware of the importance of return on investment, fully aware of trends within the sector, and dedicated to achieving the highest standards.
Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
