Specific Purpose Whole Time Post (anticipated duration 12 months) This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced governance professional to join an agile governance team in the Office of Corporate and Legal Affairs, University College Cork. Reporting to the Director of Governance, the Governance Officer will support university governance through meeting coordination, minute taking, compliance, report writing, and stakeholder engagement, requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and at least three years' relevant experience. The successful candidate will be part of a high-performing group of professionals and will actively contribute to the Office of Corporate and Legal Affairs' continuous efforts in implementing process improvements to ensure excellence in service delivery. The work in this role will be diverse and challenging and will provide the successful candidate with interesting experience across a broad range of matters as well as the opportunity to develop their skills, and knowledge. The Office of Corporate and Legal Affairs operates a hybrid working model in accordance with the University's Remote Working Policy. Appointment may be made on the Admin III Salary Scale: €60,260 - €71,946 (Scale B) / €57,375 - €68,462 (Scale A). Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
