What's the job?

As a Marketing Lead for the B&Q Marketplace, you will spearhead strategies to drive inbound lead generation and build a strong pipeline of high-quality merchants. Your expertise will ensure that our Marketplace attracts merchants who align with our values and enhance the diversity and quality of products available to our customers.

What We're Looking For

Experience:

- Proven experience in marketing with a focus on lead generation, preferably in Ecommerce, Marketplace, or B2B environments.
- Demonstrated success in developing multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive measurable results.

Skills:

- Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, and email marketing.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
- Excellent storytelling and content creation abilities.
- Project management skills to lead campaigns from concept to execution.

Attributes:

- Creative thinker with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- Strong collaborator with the ability to work cross-functionally.

What we need:

Key Responsibilities:

- Inbound Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies to attract high-quality merchant leads across various channels, including digital campaigns, content marketing, and events.
- Content Creation: Lead the creation of compelling content (e.g., blog posts, whitepapers, case studies) to showcase the benefits of partnering with the B&Q Marketplace.
- Lead Generation: Own the lead generation funnel, ensuring a steady stream of qualified merchant prospects that align with our platform standards.
- SEO & SEM: Optimize website content and campaigns for search engines to maximize visibility and drive organic traffic to the Marketplace portal.
- Performance Analysis: Use analytics tools to monitor campaign performance, generate actionable insights, and refine strategies to improve ROI.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Business Development team to ensure marketing efforts translate into a strong and actionable lead pipeline.
- Event Marketing: Plan and execute merchant recruitment events to promote the B&Q Marketplace and engage potential merchants.
