This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Technical Writer in United States or Ireland .

In this role, you will create and maintain clear, accurate, and engaging product documentation for software solutions in a fast‑paced and evolving environment. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to gather information, verify technical accuracy, and ensure content meets the needs of diverse audiences. Your work will support both internal and external stakeholders, driving adoption, understanding, and effective use of products. You will have the opportunity to influence content strategy, contribute to standardization, and enhance user experience across multiple products and platforms. Strong attention to detail, a passion for technology, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly are essential for success in this role.

Accountabilities

Research and gather technical information by interviewing subject matter experts and using products directly.

Write, edit, and maintain high‑quality documentation including user guides, manuals, and online help.

Test documentation against software to ensure accuracy and usability.

Identify inconsistencies between design, specifications, and documentation.

Collaborate with teams to implement an information architecture that maximizes content reuse and consistency.

Prepare weekly status reports and manage documentation projects to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Stay up-to-date with industry best practices for documentation, localization, and content management.

Requirements

University degree in English, Writing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field preferred; or equivalent experience.

5+ years of experience in a technical writing capacity.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to build relationships with cross‑functional teams.

Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and experience with authoring tools such as MadCap Flare.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Atlassian Confluence, Jira, and CSS for document formatting.

Experience with content management systems, localization best practices, and documentation standards.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with flexibility and strong attention to detail.
