We have an opportunity to join our Finance Team as an Accounts Payable Manager reporting to the Head of Finance.

Key responsibilities of the role:

1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable department.
2. Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
3. Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
4. Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and payment requests.
5. Manage vendor relationships and address any issues or discrepancies.
6. Prepare and review accounts payable reports and other financial reports as required.
7. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and resolve issues.
8. Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts payable team, providing training and performance evaluations.
9. Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
10. Assist with month-end closing and financial audits as needed.

Key Skills

1. Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
2. Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and accounting principles.
3. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
4. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
