Block Foreman

Overview

Job Title: Block Foreman - Apartments & or Duplexes

Location: West Dublin, Ireland - On Site position

Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate the construction of apartment blocks, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

- Manage and lead a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

- Oversee site operations, ensuring safety regulations and quality standards are met.

- Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders.

- Monitor and report on progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays.

- Ensure proper use of materials and equipment, maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as needed.

- Implement and enforce health and safety policies and procedures on-site.

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets specifications and quality standards.

- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a foreman or in a similar supervisory role in construction.

- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering a flawless final product.

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.

- Relevant certification or degree in construction management or related field preferred.
