Are you passionate about the value of volunteering and have a successful track record of strategic leadership and law and governance?
Membership on the board of the Laois Volunteer Centre is an exciting opportunity to help guide and govern the first Volunteer Centre in the county.
The Volunteer Centre was set up with the guidance of Volunteer Ireland in 2020 and is an independent entity within the network of volunteer centres around Ireland. The service is delivered by a Manager and Development Officer, Outreach Officer, and Migrant Support Officer.

What's in it for You? The role offers an opportunity for you to engage with and contribute to the existing board members, with varied backgrounds and perspectives, to collectively drive the Volunteer Centre in Laois.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who shares our belief in the value of volunteering and the benefits of volunteering for all: the individual, the volunteer involving organisation and the wider society.
