As we continue to grow, we are seeking to hire an Implementation Technician to assist with the management of our technical assets (for example our Everhub Wireless Server) and to help with deliveries to clients.

The Role

We’re looking for Implementation Engineers to join our Team. If you are looking for a company you can learn from, an opportunity to make an impact or an insight into the Inflight Entertainment industry, this role is perfect for you.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Implementation Manager, the candidate will have the following responsibilities:

- Enable Inflight Entertainment (IFE) systems (Hardware and Software) for our international clients. This includes configuring the user interface passengers will use, and setting up the required entertainment content including movies, TV shows, games and publications.

- Configure and test the IFE system on our award winning Everhub server

- Responsible for administrative tasks such as asset management and tracking, as well as coordinating hardware shipping and receiving.

- Lead the Quality Assurance testing process for client deliverables as needed

- Assist with creation of training documents for both clients and internal staff on new software release updates

- Prepare manuals and reports for application support

- Provide customer support by efficiently resolving tickets submitted through the helpdesk system.

- Conducting proactive analysis of customer usage data to prevent potential issues and provide recommendations for product enhancements.

- Other tasks/projects as assigned by Manager

Full hands-on training will be provided for the role.

The Candidate

Our role focuses on both the people leading and the technical side. The ideal candidate will have the following –

- Experience in use of IT systems (additional training will be provided as required)

- Experience working with Linux operating systems.

- Experience in Quality Assurance an advantage

- Additional experience in networking will be useful.

- Experience in Inventory Management & asset management

- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office suite

- Experience with Atlassian Suite an advantage (JIRA, Confluence)

- Experience with hardware maintenance an advantage

- Good understanding of supply chain procedures

- Confident communicator, both verbal and written

- Ability to demonstrate ownership, dive deep and deliver results

- Ability to quickly develop (and nurture) relationships with suppliers and clients

Location

Role is based in our Dublin Office.
