About SwiftComply
SwiftComply is an award-winning early-stage technology company with a mission to protect human health and the environment with an all-in-one cloud-based software that empowers local governments to easily manage their water, wastewater, and stormwater compliance programs.
We were founded in 2016 by our founder and CEO, Mick O’Dwyer. As a water & wastewater engineer at Dublin City Council (Ireland), Mick saw first hand how manual, paper-based and inefficient compliance programs can be. He created SwiftComply to fix this problem with modern, collaborative technology.
Today, SwiftComply supports over 400+ utilities that deliver water service to 50+ million citizens - and we’re expanding the team to make an even bigger impact
About the role
- Our mission at SwiftComply is to protect public health and the environment by revolutionizing how water utilities provide safe drinking and wastewater services through a unified water platform. If you're an experienced SaaS implementation professional passionate about making an impact, this role is for you
- As an Implementation Engineer, you'll be responsible for loading customer data and building custom configurations seamlessly and of high quality. You will work for a quickly growing, mission-driven organization. And, you will help local governments and utilities be better stewards of their constituents, their regulatory compliance programs, and the environment.
What you'll do
- Serve as the primary technical resource of an implementation team, responsible for loading customer data and building custom configurations
- Collaborate with customers on data cleanliness and data mapping, driving concurrence and alignment of legacy datasets with product features and customer workflows
- Collaborate with implementation team members to ensure data and configurations are completed to customer specifications
- Build and maintain scripting used to transform and load data, including Python, Powershell, and web-based APIs
- Track and measure performance against business metrics and KPIs, such as billable utilization, project scope and budget, and customer satisfaction
Who you are
We are looking for candidates who:
- You have 2+ years of experience in formal implementation and professional services organizations
- You have 2+ years of experience leading and executing data conversion processes during software deployments
- You have a deep understanding of database design methodology and ETL tooling and processes
- You lead with patience and empathy and meet the customer where they are
- You carry a Bachelor's Degree or above, preferably in a technical field
- Have a customer-service mindset, ensuring customers receive a best-in-class implementation experience
- Are proactive and detail-oriented with a high degree of ownership and urgency
- Are comfortable working remotely
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-change, high-ownership, and high-accountability environment
Bonus points for:
- Experience in the local government, water utility, or regulatory compliance space (water, stormwater, FOG, and industrial pretreatment)
- Experience standardizing implementation processes, work breakdown structures, scoping and effort estimates, and PSA (professional services automation) tools
- Experience being a part of a company that has gone from $5-10M to $25M+ in annual revenue
Excited about making a positive impact with SwiftComply but don’t feel you meet 100% of the list? If you’re excited about working with us, we’d still love to hear from you
