**What You'll Do**

**Newsrooms rely on Storyful to find both eyewitness videos and the people behind them, who lie closest to the heart of the story. With offices in New York, Dublin, London and Sydney, we work every day with leading newsrooms.**

**This role will work closely across our editorial team to discover and acquire timely news and viral video content in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media and trending online content.**

**As a Content Acquisition Agent you will work with our Editorial team to develop relationships with content creators and acquire user-generated video content in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for the video acquisition process from finding contacts to talking to uploaders through the benefits of working with Storyful, and to closing negotiations efficiently and effectively. The Content Acquisition Agent will also ensure Storyful provides the best customer service to our content creators at all times. The ideal candidate should be organized, assertive and creative.**

**They must also have a proven track record of achieving and surpassing targets while building and maintaining strong relationships.**

**Responsibilities**

+ **Build on existing and establishing new relationships with content creators**

+ **Manage the execution of licensing agreements with content creators**

+ **Manage all communications with uploaders from outlining the services Storyful offers through to questions on performance of their videos**

+ **Work closely with the operational and finance teams to ensure excellent levels of client satisfaction**

+ **Provide Editorial team with regular reports relating to the video acquisition process**

**Required Experience & Qualifications**

+ **Excellent negotiation and creative skills and an ability to see opportunities in new areas.**

+ **Proven communication skills; the candidate must be articulate and professional both in written and verbal forms.**

+ **Preferred but not required: language abilities, video editing skills, and a background in journalism are an advantage**

+ **Previous experience in sales, marketing and customer services is desirable**

+ **Strong time management, admin and organisational skills.**

+ **A strong understanding of all social media platforms.**

+ **Previous experience with CRM systems and web applications desired.**

**Preferred Skills & Knowledge**

+ **Other foreign-language skills are strongly favoured**

**Hours:** **40**

**Work Arrangement:** **Hybrid – 3 days per week in office**

**Pay Range:** **EUR 30,000 to EUR 35,500**
