Job Title: Video Acquisition Specialist

    We are seeking a skilled Video Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our editorial department, you will be responsible for discovering and acquiring timely news and viral video content in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Discover and Acquire Content: Identify and negotiate with content creators to acquire user-generated video content that aligns with our client's needs.
  • Develop Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with content creators, ensuring excellent levels of client satisfaction.
  • Manage Licensing Agreements: Execute licensing agreements with content creators, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide Reports: Regularly report to the editorial team on the progress of the video acquisition process.

    Requirements:

  • Negotiation and Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation and communication skills are essential for building strong relationships with content creators.
  • Social Media Knowledge: A strong understanding of social media platforms and their nuances is required.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management, administrative, and organizational skills are necessary for managing multiple projects simultaneously.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Language Abilities: Fluency in multiple languages is an asset, particularly those commonly used on social media platforms.
  • Video Editing Skills: Previous experience with video editing software is beneficial.
