Job Description: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Conference and Banqueting Supervisor to lead and support our events team. The ideal candidate will oversee the setup, coordination and execution of conferences and banquets, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery. This is a full time, flexible role, all candidates must have full time availability and right to work in Ireland. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the setup and breakdown of conference and banquet rooms according to hotel standards and client specifications. Lead and motivate the Conference & Banqueting team to deliver high-quality food and beverage service. Act as the main point of contact for clients during events, ensuring their needs are met professionally and promptly. Coordinate with the Events Office to ensure function sheets are accurate and up to date. Liaise with kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless event execution. Monitor service standards and address any issues or concerns during events. Ensure compliance with health & safety policies, training, and procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces and back-of-house areas. Support staff training and development within the department. The successful applicant must have: Proven experience in conference and banqueting leadership within a hotel or similar environment. Strong leadership, organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a high level of English competency. A calm, efficient and professional approach to supervising teams and handling client interactions. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, late nights and weekends. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Physical ability to assist with room setups and lifting as required.
