We are currently recruiting for Conference & Banqueting Night Porter to join our Conference & Banqueting Team at Dublins Leading Castle Hotel. The Clontarf Castle Hotel in Dublin, Ireland is a perfect blend of a boutique and luxury hotel, providing unique style and exceptional service in comfortable surroundings. We are located just 10 minutes from the heart of Dublin City Centre and 5 miles from Dublin Airport, tucked away in a tranquil setting, surrounded by fabulous golf courses and the sounds of lapping waters from the Irish Sea. Objective of the Role Reporting to the Conference & Banqueting Manager/Assistant Conference & Banqueting Manager and will support the Conference & Banqueting Team with reception duties and maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the hotel on shift. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: To carry out all the Banqueting duties to the standards as laid down in the standard of performance manuals. To breakdown and set up meeting rooms during the day/night To assist conference and event organizers with the movement of luggage and equipment to and from meetings rooms To deep clean meeting rooms and break out space as set out in the cleaning schedule Cleaning of all conference and banqueting back of house areas, including kitchens To maintain the storerooms in a neat, safe and clean order To service all the food and beverage requirements as directed To maintain a presence during all tea/coffee and lunch breaks Requirements: Experience in working in previous 4/5* Star Hotel in a Food & Beverage or Conference & Banqueting Role is desired but not essential. The ability to work on their own initiative, as well as being capable of working as part of a team. Willingness to learn. Attention to detail.
