The team and the opportunity

As part of our ambition to become the digital transformation go-to partner and provider of customer and employee experience using emerging technologies, EY has established a Salesforce business within Consulting. This is a home for our talent and will be a differentiator in the marketplace.

You will join the EY’s Salesforce team within Technology Consulting, working closely with communities of technology-focused professionals who work together to deliver this change, sharing modern engineering enablement and smart automation to optimize delivery and speed to outcome.

Your key responsibilities

- Collaborate with other architects, business analysts, and developers to assess business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions within Salesforce.
- Assist in the architectural planning, design, and implementation of Salesforce solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and technical standards.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high development standards and to ensure scalability and functionality of the solutions.
- Contribute to the development of customizations, integrations, and data migration strategies.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, process flows, and deployment guides.
- Stay current with new Salesforce features and functionality to recommend improvements and innovations.
- Aid in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during development, testing, and post-deployment stages.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that the final product aligns with business requirements and expectations.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to grow expertise in Salesforce.

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role, you must have:

- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience with Salesforce development and administration.
- Understanding of Salesforce architecture and knowledge of Salesforce best practices and guidelines.
- Proficiency in Salesforce programming languages (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components).
- Familiarity with Salesforce integration patterns and experience with Salesforce APIs.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Minimum Salesforce certified Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer and a Core Cloud.

Ideally, you will also have:

- Salesforce specialist cloud experience
