Key Responsibilities:

1. Build and maintain relationships with customers seeking funding for residential development projects.
2. Conduct detailed assessments of residential development projects and prepare concise loan reports.
3. Support team members by providing advice on funding applications.
4. Participate in regular reviews of borrower relationships and funded developments.
5. Achieve lending targets within agreed timeframes and commercial terms.
6. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
7. Facilitate cooperation with internal and external auditors.

Key Skills and Requirements:

1. Minimum of 8 years in a similar role within a financial institution, with a proven track record in residential development lending.
2. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
3. Experience in managing credit quality and compliance.
4. Coaching and mentoring junior team members.
5. In-depth knowledge of residential development lending products and markets.
6. Strong understanding of lending agreements, covenants, and security requirements.
7. Excellent negotiation and organisational skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Strong leadership and networking skills.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
11. Degree in economics/finance or a related discipline, and/or equivalent professional qualification.
