The Account Management, Manager – PSF is a key client-facing role on GLG’s Professional Services Firms team that plays a vital part in GLG's relationships with leading consulting companies across the EMEA region. The Account Management Associate will work alongside senior sales managers to develop both large and mid-sized partnerships by engaging client users within Professional Services Firms, helping them fully realise the value of GLG's platform. At GLG you will have both the opportunity to progress quickly and to also work in a collaborative environment.
Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
1. Work alongside account managers to drive commercial success, develop account plans and engage with clients regularly to articulate the firm's value proposition and uncover new growth opportunities for GLG.
2. Build relationships across all seniority levels (e.g. Consultants, Managers, Partners, etc).
3. Building on the successful franchise the firm has established in the Professional Services Firms sector, the Account Management Associate will continually enhance customer targeting and outreach while refining the firm's value proposition in the segment.
4. Further develop the GLG's service offering and explore opportunities for new product and channel development.
5. Engage regularly with colleagues in marketing, legal, client solutions, finance, technology, to solve complex business issues and successfully bring these capabilities to market.
6. Assist account managers with client-related support requests, meetings, renewals, reporting, and presentations.
7. Organise key internal and external client meetings.
8. Prepare and send key reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
An ideal candidate will have the following:
1. 1-3 years of work experience within an account management/business development role (inside sales, new business development, relationship management) in relevant industries.
2. Experience in subscription account management roles.
3. Proven track record of developing account plans and securing successful renewals.
4. Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
5. Executive presence, the ability to interact with senior executives and professionals.
6. The highest level of integrity and professionalism.
7. Demonstrated ability and initiative to handle increasing responsibility over time.
8. Bachelor's degree or above or equivalent work experience.
9. Full business proficiency in English. Additional languages such as French or German would be a bonus but not essential for this role.
