Head of Finance

On behalf of my client I am seeking a talented Head of Finance to lead the finance function and play a pivotal role in the future growth of the business. This is an exceptional opportunity for a qualified accountant with ambition.

The successful candidate will:

Drive financial performance by exceeding PBIT and Working Capital targets.
Partner with Operations, Supply Chain and Purchasing to maximise efficiency and margin.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash, and working capital management.
Ensure strong financial control, compliance, and audit performance.
Collaborate with Shared Services to streamline processes and improve invoice matching.
Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified accountant with 3+ years' experience in a finance management role.
Commercially focused, detail-oriented, and highly organised.
Strong leadership skills, with a track record of developing teams and driving productivity.
Experience in distribution or manufacturing is desirable but not essential.
Ambitious and motivated, with a clear drive to progress to Finance Director.
