Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a proven track record on large-scale, mission-critical projects?
The Company:
We are exclusively representing a Tier One construction leader renowned for delivering some of the world's most complex and technically advanced data centre projects. With a significant and long-term pipeline of work in Ireland, they are now seeking a high-calibre Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team on a major new hyperscale data centre development in West Dublin.
The Role:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be a key player in the commercial success of this multi-million euro project. You will take full ownership of a package or section, working autonomously while contributing to the overall commercial strategy.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing the end-to-end commercial process for significant sub-contractor packages from procurement to final account.
Preparing accurate cost valuations, cost reports, and cash flow forecasts.
Identifying, pricing, and negotiating variations and change orders.
Providing robust financial reporting and analysis to the Commercial Manager.
Ensuring timely and accurate submission of client applications and subsequent payment chasing.
Mentoring and supporting more junior members of the commercial team.
Implementing and adhering to the company's stringent commercial procedures.
Proactively identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
The Candidate:
To be successful in this high-profile role, you will need:
A recognised degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
8+ years' post-qualification experience with a main contractor.
Proven experience on large-scale Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, or other mission-critical/industrial projects is essential.
Demonstrable experience managing large sub-contractor packages (€5m+).
Strong expertise in procurement, cost control, and final account negotiation.
Excellent financial and commercial acumen.
A proactive, diligent, and solution-focused mindset.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency with industry-standard software (e.g., Causal, etc.).
