Overview Our client is an established and growing early-stage investment company. They are seeking a Financial Controller to lead group-wide financial operations and support strategic decision-making across the business. This role reports directly to the CFO and has line management responsibility.
Responsibilities Oversee financial operations across the group including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management
Deliver timely and accurate monthly and annual financial reports
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring reconciliations and transfer pricing adjustments are accurate
Maintain compliance with all regulatory and tax reporting obligations
Partner with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies
Lead revenue analysis and optimisation strategies
Manage financial risks including compliance, fraud, and cybersecurity risks
Support business leaders with financial planning, commercial insight, and performance analysis
Lead and develop a high-performing finance team
Requirements Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
5+ years post-qualification experience as a Financial Controller, ideally in a regulated or global organisation
Strong technical accounting knowledge and reporting skills
Proficiency with financial systems and advanced Excel skills
Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience
Strong analytical mindset and commercial acumen
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
