Piper Maddox are pleased to be working alongside one of Ireland's leading renewable energy companies on a hugely exciting role that will be playing a key role in their development pipeline.
Our client has been a mainstay in the Irish renewable energy sector across multiple decades, and have been a pioneer in the net-zero transition ever since. Now they are a constant presence at the forefront of the space.
They have a signed off development plan to deliver a multi-GW portfolio of renewable energy projects and have a diverse pipeline of Onshore Wind, Solar, Battery Storage, as well as other clean energy sources.
Their main area of focus at the moment, is the development phase where they have a high volume of projects in various stages of development. As such, they are looking for a highly experienced professional to head up their Planning & Development team.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading a strong team of environmental, planning, and development professionals taking the project portfolio through the consenting process and on towards the RTB stage.
Your remit would also surround devising and leading on planning/consents strategy, contributing to submissions/appeals in the Irish planning system, as well as reporting project progress to senior management, as well ensuring the overall running of this stage of the process.
I am looking to speak with experienced leaders in the Irish Planning & Project Development space, who have a strong track record in leading successful teams and delivering results when it comes to securing planning consents in the renewable energy sector.
This role would be suitable for someone in a leadership role covering this sort of projects, but background can be flexible. We are keen to hear from people working in Renewable Energy Development, Consultancies in the relevant fields, or wider Major Infrastructure Development.
