Job Overview: This is a 6 month, full time internship. As a Health & Safety Intern, you will assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of health and safety procedures in line with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and other relevant Irish regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in workplace safety management across a dynamic business environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in carrying out workplace risk assessments and safety inspections. Support the review and updating of safety statements, policies, and procedures. Help to monitor and track safety performance indicators. Participate in incident/accident investigations and maintain related records. Assist in delivering health and safety training sessions. Update and maintain safety documentation and databases. Support the coordination of emergency drills and safety campaigns. Contribute to initiatives promoting wellbeing and a positive safety culture. Requirements: Education & Qualifications: Currently studying or recently completed a qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, or a related discipline. Knowledge of Irish health & safety legislation is an advantage. Skills & Competencies: Strong organisational and time management skills. Attention to detail with good problem-solving ability. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
