Be part of the movement and play your part. About the role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Freight Forwarder to join our growing logistics team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in international trade and freight forwarding. You will receive comprehensive training and gain hands-on experience in coordinating the movement of goods across global supply chains via air, sea, road, and rail. You will be responsible for: Assisting in the coordination and management of international and domestic shipments. Supporting the preparation of shipping documentation such as Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists. Liaising with carriers, shipping lines, and customs brokers to track and manage shipments and ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs procedures. Inputting and updating shipment details into freight management systems and communicate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve any logistical issues. Learning about Incoterms, customs clearance procedures, and documentation requirements and assist with freight rate quotations and booking cargo space with carriers. Supporting the team in general administrative and operational tasks as needed About you Strong interest in international trade, logistics, or freight forwarding. Excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
