Electrical Design Engineer

A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team in Dublin. The role involves working on a wide range of projects across commercial, residential, education, and industrial sectors. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver electrical designs with a strong focus on environmental performance and sustainability. Incorporate key performance metrics such as daylight analysis and overheating risk into system design. Collaborate closely with mechanical, public health, and sustainability teams to provide integrated building services solutions. Maintain high standards in client engagement, design quality, and cost management. Participate in design meetings, site inspections, and technical reviews throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure alignment with company-wide design standards and best practices across offices. Requirements Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering. Minimum 2 years experience in electrical design, ideally within the PMEP or building services sector. Proficient in Revit BIM and familiar with performance analysis tools such as IES, Dialux, or Relux. Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Working towards chartership is advantageous. Full clean driving licence and access to transport.
