Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse (NICU) Opportunity in Cork, Ireland – HSE Hospitals (January 2026 Onwards)
Nutrix Medical is delighted to partner with a leading healthcare agency in Ireland to recruit skilled and dedicated NICU Nurses for ongoing roles within HSE hospitals across Cork. These positions offer an excellent opportunity to advance your neonatal nursing career while working within Ireland’s public healthcare system and supporting some of the most vulnerable infants and their families.
We provide full support throughout the relocation process, including guidance with NMBI registration, help towards accommodation, and full assistance with settling into your new role and community.
Roles Available:
We are currently seeking qualified and experienced NICU Nurses for roles across Cork’s HSE Neonatal Intensive Care Units, including:
- Level 2 and Level 3 NICU
- High Dependency Neonatal Units
- Special Care Baby Units (SCBU)
- Transitional Neonatal Care Units
Role Requirements:
- Valid nursing qualification and registration in your current country of practice
- A minimum of 2 years’ NICU experience (Level 2 or Level 3 preferred)
- NICU-specific training or a recognised neonatal qualification (highly desirable)
- Willingness to work a mixture of day and night shifts
- Valid driving licence (beneficial for multi-site work where required)
- Willingness to complete NMBI registration (fee reimbursed after 20 shifts)
Role Benefits:
This role offers highly competitive hourly rates, ranging from £32 to £50 per hour, depending on experience and NICU level. - Reimbursement of the NMBI application fee (£250) after 20 shifts
