Senior Medical Scientists - Acute hospitals, Dublin, Cavan and Drogheda

Cpl Healthcare in partnership with the HSE are recruiting for Senior Medical Scientists for a number positions across a number of disciplines in the following hospitals;

· Connolly Hospital, Dublin

· Cavan General Hospital, Co. Cavan

· Our Lady's of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, Co. Louth

These are permanent positions and will be based in the following disciplines:

· Haematology

· Blood Transfusion

· Biochemistry

· Histology

· Microbiology

Benefits include:

· Competitive salary between €66,667 - €88,021 depending on experience

· 35 hour working week

· Permanent employment

· Generous annual leave (30 days) and public holiday (10 days) entitlements per year

International applicants can available of the HSE international relocation package which includes:

· A permanent contract including sponsorship of a critical skills employment permit for non-EEA / UK applicants

· Excellent onboarding package to the value of €4,160 (EU applicants) / €4,700 (non-EU applictants) towards flights and accommodation for international applicants

· Further career progression opportunities within the service Reimbursement of CORU recognition and registration fees to the value of €510

· Induction and orientation program on arrival

Interested candidates will hold:

· A recognised qualification as Medical Scientist with CORU registration or eligibility for same

- An equivalent qualification at minimum Level 9 validated by the Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine (ACSLM).

· A minimum of 4 years post graduate experience in a clinical diagnostic laboratory since qualifying as a medical scientist in your area of specialisation
