Join us in a challenging role as Senior Medical Scientist where you will lead the Histology team at Mater Private Network. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring our laboratory provides an efficient and effective service for all patients at Mater Private Hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure laboratory efficiency and effectiveness in providing patient care.

Key qualifications include possession of Bachelor degree in Science (Applied Science) Honours degree (Biomedical option) from University of Dublin/Dublin Institute of Technology, Kevin Street or equivalent qualification.

Key qualifications also include possession of postgraduate degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Fellowship of Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine (FACSLM).

Additional key qualifications include four years experience in medical laboratory since qualifying as Medical Scientist.

Notes on interpersonal skills and awareness towards patients' needs are also considered essential.

The successful candidate must be registered with CORU or eligible for membership upon completion of study or eligible for membership and in process of applying for state registration.
