Responsibilities (Text Only)

1. Engage with customers across industries, company sizes, and types to determine needs and identify opportunities to fulfill these needs with Microsoft Cloud technologies.

2. Identify and surface new engagements aligned with the customer's business strategy. Collaborate with partners, Microsoft teams, and use core tools and targeted account lists to engage prioritized customers.

3. Work strategically to remove technical and business sales roadblocks and innovate to improve business development practices.

4. Serve as a technical leader, trusted advisor, and influencer in shaping customer decisions to buy, architect, and adopt Microsoft Azure solutions.

5. Lead overall migration and modernization Azure sales efforts, including migration for WS, SQL, and SAP, in partnership with Data & AI, SAP, and Security colleagues.

6. Drive security considerations in every customer interaction, ensuring Microsoft's Security portfolio is included as a key differentiator.

7. Collaborate with top SMC Partners on territory planning and migration execution targeting WS/SQL accounts; demonstrate value propositions and Azure benefits to motivate customer migration.

8. Work with the extended sales team, partners, and marketing to analyze whitespace, pursue high potential customers, and develop a target list of prospects.

9. Deliver solution demonstrations, whiteboarding sessions, and presentations to gain customer commitment.

10. Generate new leads through territory planning, campaigns, events, demos, and personal outreach to discover opportunities.

11. Qualify prospects and convert them into opportunities and revenue pipelines, collaborating with Microsoft partners.

12. Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets, including pipeline and activity-based goals; provide accurate pipeline forecasts.

Qualifications (Text Only)

1. Fluent German and English language skills are essential.

2. Proven experience in selling cloud services or technology-related sales/business development, especially cloud computing and management, or relevant experience in the field.

3. Experience working with Azure or other cloud-based technologies.

4. Territory and/or account management experience.

5. Additional or preferred qualifications include a background in computer science, mathematics, or engineering.

6. Azure Certifications: Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104) and/or Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions (AZ-305).

7. Deep domain knowledge in Data Center Migration.
