Job Title: Account Director

Description:

We are hiring for our client, an international media group, seeking a dynamic and confident Account Director to drive advertising revenue across print and digital platforms. This role focuses on managing agency accounts and large key clients throughout Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing market share and achieving revenue targets through strategic, solution-driven sales approaches, with a primary focus on digital growth.

The Role:

- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting key clients and advertising agencies.
- Conduct proactive sales activities, including prospecting, meetings, and presentations.
- Identify and leverage new business opportunities based on market trends.
- Engage in solution-based selling, tailoring advertising packages to client objectives and budgets.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients and agencies, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimise multi-platform campaigns.
- Meet or exceed revenue targets through strategic account management.
- Provide accurate revenue forecasting and market insights.
- Represent the company professionally at industry events and client meetings.

The Person:

- 3-5 years of experience in agency and key account advertising sales, ideally within media or publishing.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong consultative and solution-selling skills.
- In-depth understanding of digital and print advertising products and market trends.
- Established relationships with media agencies in the Northern Ireland market.
- Excellent networking, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient in a competitive sales environment.
